Little Giants Eighth at 2009 Little State Track Meet
Wabash posted 11 top-ten finishes on its way to an eighth-place finish at the 104the Indiana Intercollegiate "Little State" Outdoor Track and Field Invitational. The team finish placed the Little Giants at the top of the standings for small college, non-scholarship programs.

Jake Thomas drilled a two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning of game two between Wabash and Earlham to lift the Little Giants to a 3-2 victory over the Quakers. Wabash took game one 1-0 to pick up the short two-game North Coast Athletic Conference series sweep.
