Little Giants Place Seven, Healy Named Outstanding Wrestler at 2004 Little State
Wabash placed seven wrestlers in the top-eight Saturday afternoon at the 2004 Little State Wrestling Tournament. The tournament returned to the site of its origin in 1958, Wabash College, for the two-day event that featured 14 teams in individual competition. At the end of the tournament, 174-pounder Chris Healy was named the Outstanding Wrestlers by the coaches.

Wabash Grapplers Lose to Chicago In Top-Ranked Mat Battle
Wabash and the University of Chicago came into Wednesday night's wrestling match ranked 28th and 27th, respectively, in the latest Brute/Adidas NWCA Division III team rankings. The rankings held true as Chicago came away with a 25-17 victory over the Little Giants at Chadwick Court.

Healy Sets All-Time Win Mark; Grapplers Finish 1-3 at Olivet Duals
The Wabash wrestling team took a 26-12 victory over SUNY-Cortland at Saturday's Olivet Wrestling Duals, but it would be the only victory out of four duals for the Little Giants. Wabash would lose to Wartburg (38-9), Lycoming (19-15), and Wisconsin-Stevens Point (22-12). Senior All-American Chris Healy would finish the day 4-0 to pass Chris Ervin '91 for the all-time victories record in school history.

Junior wrestler Chris Healy saw two close matches in the second and third rounds of the NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championship take away an opportunity to earn All-American honors for the second consecutive season. Healy won his opening bout on Friday, but two losses in the next two rounds eliminated him from competition at the season-ending meet.

Healy Advances as Little Giant Grapplers Take Second at Midwest Regional
All-American junior wrestler Chris Healy will have the opportunity to participate at the NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships for the second consecutive year after winning the 174-pound title at the Midwest Regional Tournament on Saturday. The Wabash team had its highest finish since 1986, taking second out of 13 teams at the event.
