Wabash battled to a 20-19 victory over Norwich College in the opening round of the 2005 Budd Whitehill Division III Duals Friday morning. Sophomore Steve Kasten took a 3-2 victory in overtime at heavyweight to give Wabash the one-point win.

Wrestlers Fall To Ithaca at Budd Whitehill Duals
The Wabash wrestling team could not use its win Friday morning over Norwich as a springboard against number two seeded Ithaca in the afternoon rounds. The Little Giants lost 32-6 to Ithaca at the 2005 Budd Whitehill Division III Duals, held at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Senior Chris Healy finished second, while Phu Hong, Drew McCoy, and Will Clarke added seventh place finishes to pace Wabash to a 12th place team finish at the 2005 Midwest Wrestling Classic at the University of Indianapolis.

A major decision by senior Drew McCoy helped Wabash to a 28-24 victory over the University of Indianapolis Sunday morning a the Purdue Duals. The Little Giants lost 45-6 to the host Boilermakers.

Healy Takes 174-Pound Title at ONU Wrestling Invite
Senior Chris Healy went 5-0 over the weekend to win the 174-pound title at the 2004 Ohio Northern University Wrestling Invitational. Healy and fellow senior Drew McCoy, who finished eighth at 149 pounds, helped Wabash to a 10th place finish in the final team standings.

Wabash Grapplers Drop Manchester 25-15
For the first time since 1991 the Wabash wrestling team came away with a victory over Manchester College in dual meet action. The two teams met Wednesday night at Pendleton Heights High School with the Little Giants coming away with a 25-15 victory.
