Wabash posted 11 top-ten finishes on its way to an eighth-place finish at the 104the Indiana Intercollegiate "Little State" Outdoor Track and Field Invitational. The team finish placed the Little Giants at the top of the standings for small college, non-scholarship programs.

Wes Chamblee finished with the highest individual placing, grabbing second place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.02. Vincennes University's Tony Duerson won the event with a time of 54.99.

Kevin McCarthy tied for third place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.31. Teammate Garret Bonk tied for sixth place (1:58.53). 

Emmanuel Aouad and Wade Heiny advanced to the finals of the 110-meter hurdles. Aouad finished in a dead heat for fifth (15.19), crossing the finish line at the same time as Taylor's Cory Anderson. Heiny was right behind the pair in seventh place (15.39).

Hugh Jackson took sixth place in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:02.03. Donavan White crossed the finish line in 4:08.38 to grab tenth place. Seith Einterz was sixth in the 5000-meter run (15:16.82). Micah Milliman missed a spot in the top-ten by less than two seconds, finishing 11th with a time of 15:30.29.

Sam Compton-Craig and Bill Digman were seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Compton-Craig's finals time was 9:56.83, while Digman posted a time of 10:01.11. Brent Banach added a seventh-place finish in the javelin (46.20 meters; 151 feet, 7 inches). Alex Moseman took eighth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 47.31 meters (155 feet, 2 inches). 

Wabash will compete at the Dave Rankin Invitational at Purdue University Saturday, April 18.
