Wabash may have lost 8-1 to 12th-ranked University of Mary Washington to open its 2008 spring break trip in California, but the doubles pairing of Ryan Tennison and Luke Robbins managed to score an 8-4 win over the regionally-ranked duo from the Eagles.

Bielawski Improves to 7-0 With Saturday Singles' Wins
Freshman tennis player Luke Bielawski picked up his seventh win at number two singles for Wabash with victories over Ohio Wesleyan and the University Chicago Saturday. The Little Giants recorded an 8-1 team win against OWU before falling 7-2 to Chicago.

Wabash Splits Weekend Tennis Contests
The Little Giants faced two tough opponents Saturday in Wooster and regionally-ranked Wheaton. Wabash rallied for a 5-4 win over Wooster in the morning session. The final decision in the team's 5-4 loss to Wheaton came in the final matches.

Netters Knock Off 19th-Ranked Transylvania
Wabash swept Transylvania University 9-0 Saturday evening in collegiate tennis after losing 8-1 to nationally-ranked Kenyon College in the morning matches. The Lords are 23rd nationally in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, while Transylvania came into the weekend ranked 19th in the Central Region poll.

Tennis Opens 2008 Season with Sweep over Franklin
Wabash won all but 11 of the 107 total games of tennis played Thursday night at the Collett Tennis Center between the Little Giants and the Franklin College Grizzlies. The Little Giants took a 9-0 victory in their opening match of the 2008 season.
