Horrey Ties Doubles Mark
Senior tennis player Jay Horrey tied the Wabash career doubles victories record Saturday when he joined freshman Peter Gunderman for an 8-4 win in the first flight against Earlham. The Little Giants won the North Coast Athletic Conference match 9-0 over their in-state rivals.

Weather Forces Tennis Schedule Revisions
Poor travel conditions in northern Indiana have forced modifications to Saturday's three scheduled tennis matches at the Collett Tennis Center. Wabash College will play Earlham College at noon. The 9 a.m. match between Wabash and Grace College and the 1 p.m. match between Grace and Earlham have been cancelled.

The Little Giants faced two nationally-ranked tennis powers Saturday in Gambier, Ohio. Wabash lost 9-0 to the 25th-ranked University of Chicago team, followed by a 9-0 loss to eighth-ranked Kenyon in the evening.

Wabash singles players Ryan Waldon and Jay Horrey each advanced to the round of 64 over the weekend at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Fall Tennis Championships at Washington University - St. Louis. Six members of the 2008-09 Little Giant tennis team participated at the annual event.

Adam Van Zee '07 is very familiar with tennis in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The three-time captain and 2007 All-NCAC doubles player will take over as the head men's and women's tennis coach at Earlham College.
