Little Giant Netters Battle DePauw

Wabash took on nationally-ranked DePauw Wednesday night at the Collett Tennis Center. The Little Giants lost 9-0 to the 13th-ranked Tigers. (View photos from the match here.)

The Little Giants battled DePauw in the opening doubles matches. Jay Horrey and Sean Clerget eventually fell 8-4 at number one doubles to the regionally-ranked DePauw duo of Bryan Heck and Scott Sandager. Ricky Ritter and Peter Gunderman lost 8-2 at number two doubles, while Zach Lowry and Evan Bayless were defeated 8-3 at number three doubles. DePauw also swept singles play for the 9-0 win.

Wabash (8-14) returns to action for the final time at home this Saturday with a 10 a.m. match against Grace College.

Results: DePauw 9, Wabash 0
