Swimmers Celebrate Best Effort To Date at NCAC Championships
Strong Saturday night performances allowed Wabash to put some distance between itself and the rest of the field at the 2005 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. The Little Giants scored 927.5 points, finishing third in the final team standings on the final day of the three-day event at the Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio.

Wabash opened the first day of the 2005 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio with three All-Conference swims on the way to third place in the team standings. The Little Giants also set a school record in the final relay of the night.

Tankers Drop Three in Indianapolis Four-Way Dual
The Wabash swimming and diving team participated in a four-way dual meet Saturday afternoon at the University of Indianapolis. The Little Giants lost to Indianapolis 166-93, fell to Division I Xavier University 147-110, and lost to North Coast Athletic Conference foe Denison University 158-106.

Wabash opened the home portion of the 2005 swimming and diving season ranked seventh in the latest CollegeSwimming.com poll, facing the 10th-ranked Washington University of St. Louis Battling Bears at the Class of 1950 Natatorium. Saturday it was Washington University coming away with the 137-102 victory over the Little Giants.

Wabash College's swimming depth chart lists 13 events. Ten of them feature at least one of the Hewitt brothers, Ben or Michael, among the top four. Beyond the Center Grove graduates' competitive desire, both have become team leaders. And they're happy to extend the family tradition at Wabash.
