New Players Inject Excitement into Soccer Program
A mixture of 15 returning players and 14 freshmen have come together in a short period of time to bring a new level of excitement to the 2008 Wabash College soccer program.

Freshmen Student-Athletes Report
The first of a class of over 250 freshmen began reporting to the Wabash College campus over the weekend. Thirty soccer and 127 football players got the 2008-2009 school year underway by completing paperwork and testing for the upcoming fall sport season.

Youth Gain Exposure to Soccer at Camp
The Wabash Little Giant and Little Little Giant soccer camp concluded Thursday when 25 4- through 10-year-olds showed their parents what they had learned during the four-day camp. This was the third year Wabash coach Roberto Giannini put on the camp.

Players Arrive in Botswana
Twenty-one Wabash College student-athletes (20 members of the football team and one member of the soccer team) are spending spring break in Botswana as part of a missions trip. The 21 members will be providing updates throughout the week on a daily blog.

Soccer Program To Host Visit Day
Seniors interested in playing soccer at Wabash in 2008 are invited to attend the program's visit day on February 8. Spend the day with head coach Roberto Giannini and members of the 2007 team to learn how Wabash soccer will enrich your life. The visit day runs from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and takes place the day before the Third Eye Blind concert.

Wabash freshmen soccer players Mark Babcock and Diego Aliaga have been named to the 2007 All-North Coast Athletic Conference team. Both players were Honorable Mention selections.

David Rosborough's first career goal gave Wabash a 2-1 overtime victory at Oberlin Saturday afternoon to bring the 2007 soccer season to an end on a positive note.

Two late goals by Andre Hall and Andrew Kapsalis proved to be too little, too late for Wabash. The Little Giants lost 5-2 to Wittenberg, putting a damper on the Senior Day activities at Mud Hollow Field.
