Familiar Players Return on Offense for 2009 Little Giants
Five All-North Coast Athletic Conference players return on the offensive side of the football for Wabash from last year, including NCAC Offensive Player of the Year Matt Hudson. The Little Giants will have some fresh faces up front on defense as they prepare for the 2009 campaign and a shot at their fifth consecutive league title.

2009 Football Practice Underway
The 2009 Wabash College football team completed its third day of practice Friday afternoon, their last before going to full pads on Saturday. Wabash received six first-place votes and 93 total points from the North Coast Athletic Conference football coaches in the league's annual preseason poll. The Little Giants have won four consecutive conference titles heading into the 2009 season.

The 2009 preseason football polls are beginning to surface. Wabash is picked in the top-20 in both The Sporting News and Lindy's Sports Annuals magazines. Junior wide receiver Kody LeMond is also a preseason All-America selection by both publications.
