Little Giants Fall on Late Field Goal
Wabash and Wittenberg entered Saturday’s game averaging a combined 90 points a game. But for the second straight year, it was a field goal deciding the winner. Wittenberg’s Zach Harris gave the visiting Tigers a 10-7 win.

Hudson, McCarthy, Russell Receive NCAC Honors
Senior quarterback Matt Hudson, sophomore cross country runner Kevin McCarthy, and senior golfer Sam Russell have been recognized by the North Coast Athletic Conference for their achievements over the weekend. Hudson received the NCAC Offensive Football Player of the Week Award, McCarthy was presented the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week Award, while Russell was named the Golfer of the Week.

Little Giants Take Care of Business
The stage is set again, as it has been for a number of years in the NCAC, for a Wabash-Wittenberg showdown. The Little Giants took care of business at home Saturday, defeating Washington University, 31-12. Witt and ‘Bash will square off as 5-0 teams next Saturday at Little Giant Stadium.

Chamblee Receives Two Weekly Honors
Junior return specialist and wide receiver Wes Chamblee has been honored by two organizations as a recipient of their weekly awards. The South Bend native was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week in addition to being selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.

Little Giants Know Defense Comes First
Wabash College's defense has to find a way to make T.J. Salopek turn the ball over. Through three games this year, Allegheny's senior quarterback has thrown only one interception. Although the Little Giants are tied for the North Coast Athletic Conference lead in turnovers forced, their defense has yet to break open a game. That leaves second-year coach Erik Raeburn a bit worried.

Wabash Football Ready To Be Tested at Allegheny
Erik Raeburn has warned Wabash football players things might be different headed into halftime of Saturday’s game at Allegheny. The Little Giants (3-0, 2-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play) have dominated the first half of their first three games, combining to outscore their opponents 118-20. Raeburn doesn’t expect to see that same type of quick success against the undefeated Gators (3-0, 1-0 NCAC).
