The 2007 Football Youth Clinic brought in more than 300 children from kindergarten through sixth grade. The participants spent the afternoon meeting members of the Wabash football team, learning new techniques, but most importantly having a lot of fun on the football field.

Wabash defensive back Rich Lehmann denied a Franklin two-point conversion attempt with 24 seconds remaining to give the Little Giants a season-opening win over Central Indiana rival Franklin College, 35-33.

Wabash Ready For Season Opener
The time Wabash football players have been waiting for since Nov. 11, 2006 will arrive Saturday. The Little Giants will see their first action against another opponent since beating DePauw 23-20 in the Monon Bell Classic 1 p.m. Saturday when Franklin comes to Byron P. Hollett Little Giant Stadium. Wabash players will have a little extra motivation headed into their season-opener. Franklin handed the Little Giants one of their two losses last season, downing them 45-38 in overtime.
