Linemen Take Gilbert's Message To Heart
Wabash College offensive line coach Jake Gilbert made sure players understood his message. Before practice this week, he put up the stats from last year's Monon Bell game - a game where the Little Giants averaged only a paltry half-yard per carry on rushes and gave up a season-high three quarterback sacks. After checking the stats out, senior offensive lineman Brian Hilts cringed. He's taking Gilbert's message to heart - they have to block as a unit.

Senior linebacker Adi Pynenberg has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Little Giants' 21-10 victory over Wooster Saturday afternoon.

Wabash Claims Playoff Spot, NCAC Share
Wabash claimed at least a share Saturday of the NCAC championship with a 21-10 win over Wooster. It’s the third consecutive year Wabash has won or shared the championship. With the win the Little Giants also assured themselves a spot in the Division III Playoffs.

Fighting Scots Look To Dash Wabash's Title Hopes
The College of Wooster’s football team might appear to be in a rebuilding year. The Scots graduated 27 players, including 11 who gained North Coast Athletic Conference honors at one point during their career, following last season. But Wabash coach Chris Creighton said Wooster still will put veteran players on the field as the Scots entertain the Little Giants 1 p.m. Saturday.
