Little Break For Football Players
For the second time in three years, Wabash College football players have had little time to spend with their families during Thanksgiving break. While most of the students were home preparing for Thursday’s feast, the Little Giants are back on the gridiron preparing for the second week of the Division III Playoffs. Most of Wabash’s juniors and seniors went through the same scenario two years ago.

Offensive Line Paves The Way
After his second-best rushing performance of the season, Evan Sobecki gave the credit to everybody else. He may have bounced off tacklers and kept churning his legs to gain those extra yards, but the Wabash College sophomore running back acknowledged his success stemmed from the Little Giants' offensive line.

Pynenberg Named Gagliardi Finalist
Wabash senior linebacker Adi Pynenberg is one of ten finalists for the 2007 Gagliardi Trophy. Pynenberg, the 2006 and 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, is also the first three-time All-American football player in Wabash College history.

Pynenberg, Creighton Top NCAC Honors List
Senior linebacker Adi Pynenberg has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, while head coach Chris Creighton earned Coach of the Year honors. The announcement came as part of the conference's annual All-NCAC awards list. Sixteen Little Giant players were selected to the All-Conference team.

Little Giants Win Football Playoff Opener
An inspired third quarter propelled Wabash College Saturday into the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs. Wabash travels Saturday to Case-Western (11-0) at Cleveland for a second round game.

The Wabash College football team will host a first-round NCAA Division III playoff game for the third time since 2002 when the Little Giants host the College of Mount St. Joseph on Saturday, November 17. Kickoff is set for 12:00 noon.

DePauw Reclaims Bell on 47-yard Kick
DePauw sophomore place-kicker Jordan Havercamp hit his first-ever field goal Saturday and may never hit a bigger one. Havercamp's 47-yard kick returned the Monon Bell to DePauw and handed Wabash its first season loss. The Little Giants (9-1) prepare for the NCAA Division III playoffs November 17. They'll learn their opponent Sunday.

Monon Bell Game Draws National Network’s Attention
The annual Wabash and DePauw football rivalry will receive national recognition Saturday. The ESPN College Football Gameday crew of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso have decided to devote this weekend to featuring some of the under-the-radar rivalries. The crew will be live at Williamstown, Mass., Saturday for the Amherst College/Williams College rivalry.
