Lambert Takes Second at Nationals
Wabash junior Geoff Lambert qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships with the fifth fastest seed time, but he nearly brought home the national title after a courageous race. Lambert finished second in the 800-meter run finals to earn All-America honors for the second time in his career.

Junior Geoff Lambert has spent his spring break in Crawfordsville preparing to run at the 2007 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championship Meet being held this weekend in Terre Haute, Indiana. He enters this weekend's competition with the fastest 800-meter run time of any DIII athlete in the nation.

Wabash junior Geoff Lambert was named the distance/middle distance MVP after shattering the North Coast Athletic Conference and Wabash indoor record at the conference's annual Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Little Giants Enjoy Solid First Day at NCAC Indoor Championships
Wabash will have seven athletes in Saturday's finals of the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Denison University in addition to the rest of the competition in the scheduled events. The Little Giants are tied for third after the first day of action on the track.

Lambert's Earns Athlete of the Week Honors
Geoff Lambert posted two NCAA "B" cut qualifying times last weekend to earn the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Distance/Middle Distance Runner of the Week Award. He is one of three Wabash athletes to own the top marks in their individual events going into this weekend's NCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Denison University.

Lambert, Bates Set Capital Center Record
Geoff Lambert and Nathan Bates competed over the weekend at the Ohio Northern Friday Night Series Meet #5 and the Rick Meindl Last Call Meet at Capital University on Saturday. The two Wabash athletes made the most of their final efforts of the season before next weekend's North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championship Meet.
