Little Giant Harriers Ninth at Little State

Michael Gough led the Wabash cross country team to a ninth place finish out of 14 teams in the "Little State" portion of the 2009 Indiana Intercollegiate Championships Friday evening. Gough finished 35th overall with a time of 28:04.

Justin Allen grabbed 39th place, finishing in 28:12. Kenny Farris was 43rd (28:20), while Micah Milliman (29:08) was 59th. Colin Dunlap completed the team scoring with a 63rd-place finish out of a field of 115 runners with a time of 29:22.

Seth Einterz took fourth place in the open race, crossing the finish line at the Indiana State University cross country course in Terre Haute. Einterz posted a time of 26:45. Kevin McCarthy was ninth in the open race with a time 27:14.

The Little Giants are back in action on October 2 at the Notre Dame Invitational.
