Baseball Games at OWU Moved to Saturday-Sunday
The Wabash baseball series at Ohio Wesleyan has been moved to a Saturday-Sunday format. The Little Giants will play at noon both days.

A five-hit complete game victory by freshman pitcher Brian Van Duyn Sunday afternoon completed a four-game sweep by the Little Giant baseball team against Robert Morris College - Springfield. Wabash scored a 2-1 win in extra innings in game one Sunday.

Late Heroics Give Wabash Two Wins in Home Diamond Opener
A Tanner Coggins hit in extra innings gave Wabash a 3-2 win over Robert Morris College - Springfield Saturday afternoon in the first baseball game of 2008 at Mud Hollow Field. The Little Giants got a two-run single from Bobby Ritz in the bottom of the sixth in game two --- the first hit of the game for Wabash --- to go on to a 4-2 victory for the Saturday afternoon sweep.

Home Diamond Schedule Begins This Week
Wabash will open the home portion of its 2008 baseball schedule this weekend with a four-game series against Robert Morris-Springfield. The Little Giants were scheduled to play DePauw Tuesday afternoon, but that game has been postponed.

Wabash cranked out 13 runs on 18 hits, including a grand slam by Shaun Rico, to hand Schreiner University a 13-5 loss Tuesday afternoon in Kerrville, Texas. Freshman Brian Van Duyn picked up his first career victory by holding the Mountaineers to four hits over five innings.
