Wabash Quartet Named to All-NCAC Baseball Squad
Senior Shaun Rico, juniors Jake Thomas and Matt Dodaro, and sophomore Keegan Leckrone have been named to the 2008 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Team. Leckrone picked up First Team honors. Thomas was a Second Team selection, while Dodaro and Rico were named Honorable Mention.

Wabash Grabs 20th Diamond Win
A Sunday sweep of Earlham gave the Wabash baseball team a 20-win season for the first time in five seasons and a third-place finish in the North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division. The Little Giants rallied from a six-run deficit in game two to pick up a 12-7 victory. Wabash won the first game of the doubleheader in Richmond, Indiana 3-2.

Big Innings Give Wabash Win at Tri-State
A four-run first and a five-run seventh inning highlighted a 15-hit effort by the Wabash baseball team at Tri-State Friday afternoon. The Little Giants snapped their five-game losing streak with a 9-3 victory over Thunder heading into the final weekend of the season.

Wabash played arch-rival DePauw in two baseball games at Crawfordsville High School Tuesday night. The 23rd-ranked Tigers took advantage of the small ball park, blasting four home runs on the way to 11-3 and 6-2 victories over the Little Giants.

The Wabash baseball team went into its weekend series against Wittenberg University hopeful to secure a spot in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. Instead the Little Giants were eliminated from any possible berth after losing three of four games to the Tigers.

Midweek Woes Continue for Wabash Baseball
A change of scenery for the Wabash baseball team couldn't change the Little Giants' midweek fortunes. Wabash lost 12-3 to North Central College at the US Steel Yard in Gary, Indiana Thursday night. The loss was the fourth in five weekday efforts since the team began play after its spring break trip.

Wabash saw its 17-game winning streak against Earlham come to an end with a 3-1 victory by Quakers on the baseball diamond Monday night. The Little Giants held on for a 3-2 win in the nightcap of the doubleheader to come away with a split.
