New Stadiums, Playing Surfaces on the Horizon
Wabash is embarking on a campaign to improve its outdoor athletic facilities, a series of projects that will be completed for the spring 2010 baseball season and the fall seasons in football and soccer. The project includes new, dedicated facilities for the baseball and soccer teams, as well as a new synthetic playing surface in Hollett Little Giant Stadium.     more >>>

Wabash Announces Athletics Facilities Campaign
The improvements to Wabash’s intercollegiate, intramural, and recreational facilities begun seven years ago will be completed at the start of the 2009 school year. Wabash announced today a $6.2 million campaign to upgrade the College’s outdoor athletics facilities.     more >>>

Logansport High School catcher Grant McCloskey was named the Loganland Player of the Year by the area baseball coaches. McCloskey plans to play baseball at Wabash College next season.      more >>>

Four Indiana high school seniors will play in the annual North-South Baseball All-Star Game July 12 game at Notre Dame’s Frank Eck Stadium. Next season the quartet will all be wearing a Wabash College baseball uniform.     more >>>

Incoming Freshman Helps Rescue Lafayette Woman
Brandan Alford, a member of the Wabash Class of 2012, joined his Lafayette American Legion baseball teammates in rescuing a women trapped under a minivan Saturday afternoon. Alford, Emilio Domondon, Andrew West, and Kory Banes lifted the vehicle off 72-year-old Helen Williams, who was trapped under a tire.     more >>>

Future Little Giants Get An Early Start
Future Wabash College freshmen Blake Harris and Andrew Swart got a head start on the rest of their incoming class Tuesday afternoon. The two members of the Crawfordsville High School baseball team joined the rest of their team in practice at Wabash's Mud Hollow Field in preparation for the Athenians' Saturday appearance in the state high school baseball 3A championship game.     more >>>
