Little Giants Split With Monmouth on the Diamond
Wabash got a sacrifice fly from sophomore Justin VanderIest in the eighth inning to take the first of two games from Monmouth College on Thursday, but could not come up with a timely hit in the second game to split with the Fighting Scots. The Little Giants won the opener 6-5 before losing 2-1 in the nightcap.

The Wabash College baseball team continued its spring break action in Florida on Tuesday afternoon, taking both games of a doubleheader against Emory & Henry. The Little Giants came away with a pair of 2-0 victories to even their record at 5-5 for the year.

Baseball Splits With Rhode Island in Opening Action in Florida
The Wabash College baseball team opened a week's worth of baseball in the Clearwater, Florida region on Sunday afternoon by splitting a pair of games with Rhode Island College. The Little Giants lost the first contest in extra innings, falling 10-7 in eight, before picking up a 13-1 win in five innings in the nightcap.

The Wabash College baseball traveled to Georgia for the second consecutive week, picking up a 14-7 victory over Oglethorpe on Sunday. The Little Giants lost 4-3 to Oglethorpe in the nightcap, and fell 9-2 to LaGrange College on Saturday.

Little Giants Finish Savannah Trip with 1-2 Mark on the Diamond
The Wabash College baseball team broke the seal on the 2004 season over the weekend with a trip to Savannah, Georgia. The Little Giants opened the trip with a 7-6 win over the Savannah College of Art and Design, but lost 4-2 in the night cap against SCAD. On Sunday, the Little Giant tried to rally but could not overcome a 8-0 start by Capital University, falling 9-3 to the Crusaders.

The Wabash College baseball team split a doubleheader against the Savannah College of Art and Design on Saturday. The Little Giants won the opener 7-6 before falling in the nightcap by a final score of 4-2.

Five Wabash Players Earn All-Conference Baseball Honors
Five players from the Wabash College baseball team were selected to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference baseball team for 2003 as voted on by the NCAC coaches. Junior Mike Mack, senior Jake Martin, and sophomores Tyler Nance, Bill Goff, and Danny Schubert have all named to the squad. Mack, Martin, and Nance were Second Team selections, while Goff and Schubert earned Honorable Mention honors.

Little Giants Cap Successful Baseball Season with Sweep of Earlham
The Wabash College baseball was forced to battle back for a victory in Sunday’s first game against Earlham before cruising to a win in the final game of the season in the afternoon to finish 22-18 for the season while taking a four-game weekend sweep against the Quakers. The Little Giants won the first game 10-9 and took a 12-2 victory in game two on Sunday.

Thiry Leads Wabash to Two Wins over Earlham in Baseball Doubleheader
Freshman pitcher John Thiry picked up a victory in relief in Saturday's first baseball game then pitched a complete-game victory in the second as Wabash College defeated Earlham in both games of the doubleheader. The Little Giants won 11-8 in game one and took a 4-0 victory in game two.
