Little Giants Split Four-Game Series at Wittenberg
After splitting two games of a doubleheader Sunday afternoon, the Wabash baseball team split two more Monday afternoon at Wittenberg. The Little Giants won 12-1 in Monday’s opener, but lost 9-2 in the series finale.

Little Giants Sweep Quakers For First Place in NCAC Baseball Standings
A 7-1 victory in game one and a come-from-behind 16-9 win in game two Tuesday gave the Wabash baseball team a 4-0 sweep over the Earlham College Quakers and sole possession of first place after one week of play in the North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division.

Wabash junior John Thiry held the Earlham College Quakers hitless after the first batter of the game laced a double down the line, helping Wabash to a 12-0 win in the first of two baseball games Saturday afternoon. Wabash took game two 9-5 to move to 2-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division action.

Friday afternoon's doubleheader baseball game between Earlham and Wabash will now be played Tuesday afternoon at Mud Hollow Field, beginning with game one at 1 p.m.

Little Giants Lose Three to Olivet in Weekend Diamond Series
Wabash played a three-game series against the Olivet College Comets Saturday and Sunday. The Little Giant bats were as cold as the weather as Wabash lost all three games. Olivet took the Saturday doubleheader 4-1 and 13-4, then returned for a 7-6 win in 11 innings Sunday afternoon.

The 2005 spring break trip came to a close for the Wabash baseball team Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants rallied for a 10-6 victory in game two against Coe College after losing 2-1 in the first game against the Kohawks to finish 8-3 for the week.
