Wabash Rededicates Collett Tennis Center
Senior members of the Wabash tennis team, their coach, alumni,
administrators, and friends gathered Saturday to rededicate the John P.
Collett Tennis Center at Wabash College. Pictured are Professor Bernie

President Patrick White, Seniors Sean Clerget, Ryan Waldon, and Jay

Tom Bambrey ’68, director of athletics at Wabash, served as master of
ceremonies for the rededication.
President Patrick White welcomed guests and thanks those who made gifts
to make the rededication possible, including the Class of 1976 John P.
Collett Fund.
Rick Cavanaugh ’76, who like John Collett ’24 is a member of Phi Gamma
Delta, gave remarks honoring Collett, who served his fraternity, his
College, and was Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Longtime friends of Wabash tennis Vern and Barb Easterling stand with

Coach Hutchison thanks the alumni and friends for their gifts, which
allowed the Collett Tennis Center to be completely refurbished.
The ribbon is cut — officially rededicating the John P. Collett Tennis
Center.

Center on a gorgeous fall afternoon at Wabash.
