2011 Fall Jazz Band/Wamidan Concert Album Two
The Wamidan world music ensemble, with artistic director James Makubuya, opened Thursday night's concert. Here Kelvin Burzon ’12 dances Solace, a Middle Eastern veil dance.
Joining Wamidan for three numbers was the Wamidan Children's Ensemble, directed by Sister Stella Sabina. Their pieces included a poem, "I Am the Future of the World," which the children recited in pairs.
Debra Harvey leads the group in the Middle Eastern veil dance.
