Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men Board Member Brad Johnson ’71 organized Thursday night's reception at the IMA honoring Professor Morton and bringing together more than 120 alumni and faculty and their families along with students and their parents.

Professor Morton introduced Michael Brown ’13, who assisted her with the project, and thanked her colleagues and alumni for their support. Several other Wabash students and faculty—including Professor Jim Cherry, whose voice is heard on the audio tour of the exhibit—worked with Professor Morton on the exhibit.
Thursday's reception was a family-friendly event, and when Professor Morton pointed out that Thursday was the birthday of Professor Mark Brouwer's daughter, Isabelle, the crowd sang Happy Birthday.

The works featured in Dynasty and Divinity were made between the 12th and 15th centuries in the ancient Yoruba city state of modern-day Nigeria.
The near life-size heads and figures of humans in terra cotta and bronze featured in the exhibit—some cast of nearly pure copper—are among the most remarkable artworks in the world.
