117th Monon Bell - Color 2
"Dear Old Wabash!" The crowd had plenty of opportunity to belt out the fight song at the 117th Monon Bell Game. Wabash won 47-0 with the 3rd largest margin of victory in half a century. Photos in this album by Kim Johnson.
Sphinx Club members had ample opportunity for push-ups today in the 47-0 victory over DePauw.
Coach Steve House was honored at halftime for 25 years coaching at Wabash. He coached his last today. He retires at the end of this season.
Coach House had his own fan club at today's game.
The Monon Bell game is not only important to the students at Wabash. Dean of the College Gary Phillips (left), Professor Emeritus Dave Maharry, and Professor Frank Howland were there to cheer on the Little Giants and support their students.
