Eight Wabash students, an alumnus, two parents, and the sister of a Wabash student — along with other volunteers — spent the day at the Vanity Theater, a community theater in Crawfordsville that is home to the Sugar Creek Players.
WABASH Day volunteers ripped off the front of the old stage, hauled parts upstairs, tore off a crow's next, tore down two walls in the prop room, moved three tons of wood and supplies into the theater for the new stage, and helped begin construction of the new stage. The students were members of Beta Theta Pi.

The Betas hauled in tons — literally — of wood and supplies to build a new stage at the Vanity Theater. And this happened after the students helped remove the old stage and move it to storage.

It was dirty, physical work at the Vanity Theater, but the students did appear to enjoy the "deconstruction" part of the work.
