2009 Alumni Volunteer Symposium
Ned Rickett ’40, winner of the Warren Shearer Award, spoke briefly to more than 70 alumni volunteers and their guests, suggesting that Class Agents should never be afraid to ask their classmates to get involved and to donate to the College. At age 92, Rickett continues to serve as Class Agent and helps the Admissions Office recruit students from California.
Craig Higgs ’99 flew solo in earning the Robert Mitchum Award for the Outstanding Young Class Agents. Higgs and his fellow agents, Aman Brar and Ethan Olberding, celebrated a terrific 10th reunion in June and the class was one of only two classes to have a significant increase in Annual Fund donors in fiscal 2009.
