About Our Participants
From a number of outstanding pastors who applied, a representative group was selected with very high potential for leadership from diverse churches throughout Indiana. They have rich academic backgrounds and life experiences, and we engage in lively discussions of important issues and challenges that face communities and churches in Indiana.
Wabash Pastoral Leaders are talented pastors of Christian congregations in Indiana who have demonstrated during the first five to ten years of ministry a high potential for significant leadership.
The program is for pastors of congregations in Indiana who have an MDiv degree from an accredited seminary, have completed five to ten years in ministry since graduation or ordination, have developed some confidence, optimism and security in a pastoral role, and have high potential for the next two or three decades of Christian ministry.
Participants will reflect a broad spectrum of Indiana pastors, including regional, denominational, theological, racial, ethnic and gender difference.
