Following the leadership of President Shefter, the team practiced mostly in the morning this semester. There were mixed reviews as far as its effectiveness, but it should take no convincing to see that the Crew members were the most committed sportsman at the college to wake up at 4:30am every day and drive the hour to Eagle Creek. Here are a few scenes of the madness that ensued.

Inside the boathouse too early in the morning! Is Lil' Bash upside down or is the boathouse?

Rowing in the sunrise. Left is the novice eight, right is the varsity four.

On the dock and the daily task of hauling the boat back to its rack. The novice worked markedly harder at this job - the eight is a heavy boat, especially with only six!
