Lifeline Law Press Conference Wednesday

Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller and State Senator Jim Merritt will conduct a news conference at Wabash College on Wednesday to discuss the Indiana Lifeline Law.

The news conference will begin at 12:30 p.m. in Center Hall, room 216.

Passed by the Legislature earlier this year, the Lifeline Law provides legal immunity to young people who seek help for someone suffering an alcohol-related medical emergency.

The law is intended to prevent injuries and deaths due to alcohol poisoning related to underage drinking. Attorney General Zoeller and Senator Merritt are seeking to raise public awareness on college campuses about the new law.
