The WABASH Day event in St. Louis was held at the Dogtown Community Garden on Saturday, October 15th. Working alongside volunteers from Gateway Greening, we were tasked with preparing the garden for winter by removing dead plants and weeds, spreading compost, and mulching walkways.

 

While the number of alumni participants was down this year, we were able to accomplish all of the tasks assigned to our group. In addition our "all-male" contingent from Wabash - Charlie Raiser '69, Jim Dyer '83 and John Williams '85 - we were joined by Katie Dyer '11 (Wellesley) and Susan Dyer '83 (DePauw), both graduates of women's colleges
