Tennis Drops Decision to DePauw
by Brent Harris   •   April 13, 2011 Bookmark and Share

Just a few yards away from where the Wabash baseball team was handing DePauw a 12-5 loss, the good fortune would not work its way to the Collett Tennis Center where the Little Giants lost to 19th-ranked DePauw 9-0.

Fans stood on the Wabash Ballpark hill in between left field and the far west outdoor tennis courts, taking in the action from both events. The Little Giants (15-8) battled the nationally-ranked Tigers (12-3), but were unable to secure a final point in the team scoring. Wade Miller dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision at number two singles, while Daniel Delgado lost by the same score at number three singles. Nate Koelper fell 6-3, 6-2 at number six singles.
