Students Crowd Annual Community Fair

Wabash students, faculty, and staff made the 2009 Community Fair the biggest in the event's four-year history.

The Schroeder Career Center, along with corporate sponsors, presented the fourth-annual community fair with more booths than ever before. See a photo album here.

Banks, hair salons, massage and day spas, churches, along with other businesses and organizations took advantage of the opportunity to introduce themselves to the Wabash Community.

Students Adam Miller '12 and Reggie Steele '12 interned this summer at the Career Center. They were responsible for organizing this year's fair. Miller said more than 90 businesses and organizations were registered this year, the biggest in the Community Fair's history.

"We had a huge crowd of students right at 11 o'clock," Miller said. "It was probably the biggest student turnout ever."

The lure of information, coupons, lots of free food, and even a massage made the Fair a big hit.
