Passodelis Joins Top Pittsburgh Law Firm

Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC continues its rapid expansion with the hiring of four attorneys in its Pittsburgh and Alcoa Technical Center offices, including Wabash alumnus Christopher Passodelis, Jr.,

Passodelis joins Eckert Seamans as a member in its Business Division. He concentrates his practice on general corporate and business transactions, and has developed a broad legal background supplemented with practical business experience.  He has represented clients on matters involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, initial and secondary public offerings, post-merger integration strategies, commercial finance and real estate development.  In addition to developing and documenting the structure of transactions, Mr. Passodelis has worked with clients to identify and secure the financial composition that most appropriately supports the underlying transaction.

Mr. Passodelis has drafted asset and stock purchase agreements, articles of merger, licensing agreements, commercial lease agreements, construction agreements (representing both owners and contractors), employment contracts, non-competition agreements and non-disclosure agreements.  He has represented both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of debt transactions ranging in amount from $100,000 to $600,000,000.  Additionally, he has represented start-up and growth oriented businesses in securing new capital through various private placement vehicles.

Passodelis is a 1984 Wabash graduate who earned his law degree in 1989 from the Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia; and the American, Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations .
