Poet Mark Doty to Give Reading at Wabash

Wabash College is pleased to welcome Mark Doty on Thursday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. Doty is one of America’s most celebrated poets and will read from his work. The reading will take place in Korb Classroom in the Fine Arts Center.

Doty is the author of 12 books, including his most recent collection of poetry, Source, and the collection, My Alexandria—which won the National Poetry Series, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the T. S. Eliot Prize, and was a National Book Award finalist. He also wrote Heaven’s Coast: A Memoir and has received fellowships from the Guggenheim, Ingram Merrill, Rockefeller, and Whiting foundations. He was the recipient of an NEA fellowship and teaches at the University of Houston.

Doty’s talk is free and open the public. A reception will follow the reading in Littell Lobby. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
