October 11, 2010
Wabash men in Noblesville spent Wabash Day working at Third Phase, a shelter and food/clothing pantry serving Hamilton County families in crisis as a result of abusive situations, alcohol/substance abuse, fire, accidents, and natural disaster. The men spent their day cleaning and mulching a children’s play area, and disassembling a large swingset/play system so a new one can be erected. They assembled and installed a new shelving system for the Third Phase food pantry. · There were tough chores too. They split wood on site, providing fuel that will help heat Third Phase’s residential and counseling center for the winter.
