Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies

"The objective of the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies is to promote educational, cultural, and social programs of concern to the citizens of Wabash and Crawfordsville communities, particularly Black citizens."

Mission Statement

The Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies consists of over 40 Wabash College students. Advised by the two directors; Executive Director, Dr. Tim Lake and Associate Director Amina McIntyre, the goals and vision of the Institute are carried forth. It is extremely important to say that the vision the founders had of the Institute in 1970 are still of the utmost support and are indefinitely assured with the director's and MXI alumni's help.
