Lilly Library has been providing free public access to U.S. government information since its designation as a federal depository in 1906. We currently receive approximately 12% of all government publications available through the Federal Depository Library Program and base our selection profile on the needs of the college community and local patrons.
The government documents area is on the first floor and is shelved according to the Superintendent of Documents system (SuDoc). This means that the documents are arranged by Departments and Independent Agencies and then by the offices or bureaus within that group. The government documents collection is available during the hours the library is open.
