Wabash Student Use of the Crawfordsville Public Library

The Crawfordsville District Public Library has many resources that can supplement your work at Wabash College as well as many resources that Lilly Library does not hold — and as a Wabash student you have borrowing privileges. (DIRECTIONS)

You may search the online library catalog to find many works of fiction, popular non-fiction titles, books on tape, and even videos that Lilly Library may not own.  If you want to check out some items, you can obtain a card that is issued to any student who does not have a Crawfordsville home address. There is no charge for this card, but you must bring in your Wabash ID along with proof that you are now living in Crawfordsville (a piece of mail addressed to you is sufficient). Cards expire after one year.

Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday 9-9
  • Friday-Saturday 9-5
  • Sunday 1-5

Loan periods:

  • Most fiction, non-fiction, cassettes, CDs = 28 days
  • New books, cassettes, CDs; all magazines = 7 days
  • Videos, DVDs = 4 days

What else can the Crawfordsville District Public Library do for you?

  • You can get quick information on local concerns including city government, county officials, state officials, museums, clubs and organizations, and more.
  • You can use the extensive resources of the Local History Room for genealogical and historical matters. The Local History Room is open whenever the library is open, and the reference staff can help you.
  • You can talk to a reference librarian During library hours in person or by phone: 362-2242
