The following are links to opportunities for working & volunteering. Some opportunities are abroad, others are international and in the USA.
The Career Center has just subscribed to International Career Employment Weekly (ICEW), an excellent resource that lists international and internationally-focused job and internship opportunities. The bulk of the listings are for opportunities overseas, with the remainder primarily in U.S.-based international development organizations or those concentrating on international issues (World Bank, UN, etc.) The domestic positions tend to be concentrated in the NYC/DC corridor, but are scattered throughout the U.S. as well.
This is the best, most comprehensive resource for such positions that is available to us and it is now available to you.
We've purchased an online subscription. Each week the URL, username and password to access it changes. To properly distribute this resource to those interested, we'll manage an ICEW listserv. Each week, we'll forward those on the listserv the access info for that week. Issues generally come out on Thursdays.
Here is a list of POSSIBLE overseas work or volunteer opportunities. We do not endorse, guarantee or recommend
any of these following opportunities. Checking the competence and viability of these programs is your responsibility.
We do nothing more than tell you that these may be opportunities of interest. You are on your own otherwise.
