Off-Campus Studies!
This web site will facilitate participation in an approved off-campus study program. Whether you choose a program within the United States or in another country, Wabash College believes that this can be one of the most important life-changing educational experiences of your life.

The deadine for completing applications for fall 2010 or spring 2011 Off-Campus Study (OCS) programs is Friday, December 4th, 2009 at 4:00 PM. Applications will not ordinarily be considered after the deadline. The deadline for International Studies Area of Concentration is Friday, November 20th, 2009!! Please talk about this great program with David Clapp or Professor Paul Vasquez in Baxter 30.
Here's what you need to do:
1. If you plan to study in another country, apply for a passport.
2. Attend at least one required Informational Meeting.
3. Discuss your potential plans with your Academic Advisor.
Modern Language majors and minors: you must begin the process of program selection by FIRST discussing your plans with your current professor who will provide an evaluation of your level of proficiency to you and to David Clapp. This information will be key to selecting the best possible program for you. All language classes taken abroad must be approved by the department chair!!
4. Choose an OCS Program.
5. Click for programs in Spanish, French, German, or English.
6. Complete the on-line application - deadline December 4th, 2009
7. Complete the Course Approval Form - deadline November 20th, 2009
8. Advisor/Department Chair Form - deadline November 20th, 2009.
9. Await decision of the Off-Campus Study Committee January of 2010.
10. If approved by the OCSC, apply to your program.
11. Financial Matters: Costs, Financial Aid and outside scholarships.
12. Once approved by your program click here.
