PLUS Loan Agreement for ESH Not Earned

Students must be in good standing with the Business Office in order to pre-register for classes. This means they cannot have an outstanding balance due. In an attempt to prevent the blockage of pre-registration, this form will ensure your student will be able to register for classes on the designated date/s by paying the balance created from unearned ESH.

Per arrangement with the Business Office at Wabash College, (student) was to earn a certain amount of ESH to cover a portion of his tuition statement. An advance credit was given per this arrangement for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The agreement signed states the following:

I understand that my chosen percentage of my packaged ESH amount will appear as a pending credit on my bill.

I understand that if I have not earned any of my ESH by October 1 that my pending ESH credit will be removed from my bill. That amount will become immediately due to the College. In that event I also forfeit my ability to apply a pending credit to my spring 2012 bill.

Due to the required amount of ESH not being earned, the balance due will be converted to a PLUS loan. I, (borrower) agree to activate or increase my PLUS loan in order to pay this balance.

The parent borrower will be notified via email upon completion of this transaction.
