Wednesday Religious Chapel: Center Hall Tuttle Chapel, 10:00AM
 
Each Wednesday that classes are in session, a brief Christian service is held in Tuttle Chapel, second floor of Center Hall. It runs from 10:00 am. until 10:10 am. All are welcome.
 
Wabash Wellness Biggest Loser: Allen Athletics and Recreation Center Servies Wrestling Room, 11:00AM - 12:45PM
 
Weigh-ins will be held in the wrestling room in the Allen Center on every Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. from January 30 to April 24.

Yasemin Yildiz, Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures – University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will give a talk at 12:15 pm in Detchon 209.
 
Haines Biochemistry Lecture: Hays Hall , 12:15PM
 
Haines Biochemistry Lecture Series - Thomas M. Roberts '70, Ph.D. from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School will be back on campus to present his two talks: The Public Presentation will take place in Hays 104 on Wednesday, March 13th @ 12:15 PM - "The Future of Smart Drugs for Cancer: Can we afford them? Or afford to live without them?" His Research Seminar will take place on Thursday, March 14th at Noon in Hays 319 - "PIKing a Poison for Cancer: How to Target P13 JKinases in Cancer".

The topic is Diversity in the Classroom. Several Wabash professors will discuss their projects to enhance diversity in their curricula and classrooms. The talk will take place from 4:15-5:30 ***Note the Afternoon Time*** Refreshments will be provided.

The Wabash College Democrats will be hosting the first annual Thomas R. Marshall Spring Lecture Series with guest speaker, Ari Berman.
 
WSFLA - Patrick Stroud, '14: Hays Hall 104, 8:00PM
 
The Wabash Society for the Furthering of the Liberal Arts (WSFLA) will be hosting Patrick Stroud, '14 and his talk entitled "DePauw and 'Deep Play': What a College Sports Rivalry has to do with Balinese Cockfighting" Abstract: In the spring of 2012, Patrick worked with the history of the Wabash-DePauw sports rivalry as a research opportunity within his History of Sport and Physical Education course with Dr. Salisbury. Since then, his ways of doing history have come into question--leaving him to question some historical methodologies. In this presentation, we will explore a basic history of the Wabash-DePauw rivalry, and then apply it to a more modern method of analysis via the work of anthropologist Clifford Geertz. All are welcome to attend.
