Sophomore Interviews: Center Hall 115
|

Sophomore Interviews will be taking place in the Dean of Students’ Office beginning January 14 through March 1, 2013. This is the time when Sophomores will declare their major and minor,
and/or area of concentration, as well as reflect on their Wabash experience thus far. Please stop by Center Hall 115 and sign up for an appointment with Dean Raters.

Chapel Talk: Prof. Bill Cook '66: Chapel , 11:15AM

Speaking at Chapel this week will be Professor Bill Cook with a talk titled "Wabash in my Mind."
Cook is a visiting professor of religion and history, and also held that rank from 2008-2010. He retired last May after 42 years of teaching in the history department of the State University of New York at Geneseo with the rank of Distinguished Teaching Professor. He is a specialist in church history, especially the medieval and Renaissance periods. He has written four books about St Francis of Assisi and the Order he founded. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wabash ('66) and a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha, holds an MA NA and PhD from Cornell, and was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from Wabash in 2010. He is single and has adopted several children; one of them is a member of the Wabash College class of 2007 and a member of Kappa Sigma.

Sign Language Club Talk Rob Shook: Baxter Hall 101 (Lovell Lecture Room), 12:00PM - 1:00PM

Alumus Mr. Rob Shook will be discussing the causes behind hearing loss, the misconceptions about the Deaf community, the different adaptations there are for the Deaf community, and his personal experience with hearing loss. His presentation will mostly be taking side of ASL (American Sign Language).
