Sophomore Interviews: Center Hall 115
 
Sophomore Interviews will be taking place in the Dean of Students’ Office beginning January 14 through March 1, 2013. This is the time when Sophomores will declare their major and minor, and/or area of concentration, as well as reflect on their Wabash experience thus far. Please stop by Center Hall 115 and sign up for an appointment with Dean Raters.
 
Collegiate Day of Prayer: Chapel , 9:15AM - 10:00AM
 
Join us in the Chapel at 9:15am as the campus unites for prayer for the Wabash Community in observance of Collegiate Day of Prayer 2013.
 
Chapel Talk: Kim King '99: Chapel , 11:15AM
 
Speaking at Chapel this week will be Wabash Alumnus Kim King with a talk titled "Leaving and Coming Back: Exploring My Second Naïveté." Kim King graduated from Wabash in the spring of 1999 and earned a Masters of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He served in various leadership roles in AME congregations in both Atlanta and Chicago, but left pastoral ministry in 2006 in order to work in higher education. He was first hired at Wabash as the Assistant Director of Admissions in 2008, but left to direct the Office of Admission at the Chicago Theological Seminary in May of 2011. He returned to Wabash this past fall and is currently the Associate Director of Admissions. Please join the Sphinx Club this Thursday at 11:15 AM in the Pioneer Chapel.
 
St. Louis Lunch: 12:00PM
 
Thursday, February 28 at O.B. Clark’s for lunch at 12:00 Noon. O.B. Clark’s is located 1921 S. Brentwood Drive. This is one of the traditional meeting places for our group at lunch time. Just look for some guys wearing red – or ask the wait staff. If you can’t make it out for our evening gatherings, please try to make it for lunch.

Sam Rocha will give a talk, "The Condition of Beauty" in Baxter 101, at 7:00 pm, hosted by The Wabash Commentary.
 
Mike Russell '10 speaking at AMPED: Allen Athletics and Recreation Center Classroom, 7:00PM - 8:00PM
 
Mike Russell - Wabash Class of 2010 - will be speaking at AMPED tonight. Come join the men of AMPED and WCM for a time of fellowship in God's Word. WCM is affiliated with Campus Crusade for Christ and AMPED (Athletes Making Plays Every day) with Athletes in Action.

Brian Doyle is the editor of Portland Magazine at the University of Portland, in Oregon. He is the author of 13 books, among them the novels Mink River and Cat's Foot, the story collection Bin Laden's Bald Spot, the nonfiction books The Grail and The Wet Engine, and many books of essays and poems.
 
Tony Couch speaking at Cru: Baxter Hall 101, 9:00PM
 
Tony Couch will be speaking on "Love and Relationship" at the weekly meeting of Cru @ 9:00pm. We will also be providing information on up-coming Spring Break opportunities to go to Big Break in Panama City Beach and to New Orleans to help rebuild some houses. Hope to see you there.
