CareerFest: To Be Announced
 
CareerFest is a series of events for Wabash students centered on topics related to work, success, and values in every step of the four year plan. Whether you are deciding your major, thinking about internships, or about to graduate we have an event for you!
 
Wednesday Religious Chapel: Center Hall Tuttle Chapel, 10:00AM
 
Each Wednesday that classes are in session, a brief Christian service is held in Tuttle Chapel, second floor of Center Hall. It runs from 10:00 am. until 10:10 am. All are welcome.
 
Intercollegiate Studies Institute Presentation: Baxter Hall 101, 12:15PM - 1:00PM
 
Matthew Gerken of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) will present a brief talk on "The Quest for Community: Robert Nisbet and Conservatives Against Capitalism." In addition to the brief talk, Mr. Gerken will discuss opportunities and essay contests through ISI. This presentation is sponsored by the Wabash Conservative Union. Lunch will be provided.
 
LWV Superintendent Candidate Forum: Fine Arts Center Ball Theater, 5:30PM - 7:30PM
 
The League of Women Voters of Indiana presents a Candidate Forum for the Indiana State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Candidates Tony Bennett (incumbent) and Glenda Ritz will answer questions from moderator Matthew Tulley, who is an award-winning columnist at the Indianapolis Star. The event will be held in Ball Theater. Advance reserved seating only. Open seats will be made available at 5:15 p.m.
 
IU SPEA - Indianapolis: Goodrich Hall 104, 7:00PM - 8:00PM
 
Join Luke Bickel who will be speaking about a fellowship with the Indiana Senate that provides full tuition and a stipend of $10,000 for the academic year. RSVP in Wabash Works. . This is a highly sought after position with the Senate Finance and Budget Committee and is only awarded to a SPEA IUPUI student. Luke will also discuss programs in non-profit management, public management, policy analysis, urban sustainability, criminal justice, public safety, and homeland security.

VAS: Bonnie Campbell, writer: Fine Arts Center Korb Classroom, 8:00PM
 
Wabash College Visiting Artists Series will present writer, Bonnie Jo Campbell, author of the national bestselling novel, Once Upon a River. Campbell will read from selected works at 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, in Korb Classroom in the Fine Arts Center. A question and answer session will follow her reading.
