Celebrating Liberal Education: Indiana State Museum, 9:00AM - 9:00PM
This one-day conference hosted at the Indiana State Museum will serve as a forum to explore the Center of Inquiry’s role as a servant of excellence in the liberal arts and the value of the liberal arts in higher education.
Speakers and panelists include leaders in higher education, business, medicine, law, and foundations.
Who benefits from the liberal arts? What difference do the liberal arts make for students and our collective wellbeing in changing times? What have we learned from the Center of Inquiry in the Liberal Arts at Wabash that can strengthen the liberal arts in American higher education? How have some of our nation’s most respected leaders benefited from their own liberal arts educations? How are colleges and universities changing the way they teach and learn using the evidence of the Wabash National Study of Liberal Arts Education?
Through these and other questions we will celebrate and contemplate the Center and the value of liberal arts education.
