Chapel Talk: Blaine Harding: Chapel , 11:15AM
This week's speaker for chapel will be Blane Harding with his talk entitled: “We Are All Multiculturalists Now: The Urgency of Inclusion.”
Harding earned a B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Communications from State University of New York-Brockport and a M.A. in 19th Century American History from Colorado State University. In May 2012 after 22 years of service, he retired from Colorado State University where he served as the Director of Advising, Recruitment, and Retention for the College of Liberal Arts. Harding currently serves as the Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs at the University of Kansas. He is also a consultant for private companies and has worked with over 30 institutions of higher learning across the country. He is a faculty member and past chair of the Summer Institute Advisory Board for the National Academic Advising Association as well as the former chair of the Multicultural Concerns Commission. He is also the recipient of several honors and awards.
Harding will be on the Wabash campus for a few days and will be speaking on multiple occasions, including a diversity workshop on Wednesday, September 11, at 7 pm in Korb Classroom.

Taking the Lead: Leadership Skills: Detchon Center 209, 12:00PM - 1:00PM
This session is presented by representatives of Target Corporation, including some former Wabash students. In addition to "Taking the Lead," they will present information on their summer internship program and other post- graduate opportunities with Target, as well as provide time for Q&A. RSVP is required. Casual Dress.
