Callings Education Panel — Panelists will share their understanding of vocation in secondary education in light of their teaching and administrative experiences, with Q & A following. Participants include:
Jacob Pactor '04 teaches English at Speedway High School, Speedway, IN, and previously taught at Northview High School in Brazil, IN, and several high schools in Indianapolis.
Josh Miracle '11 teaches Psychology, Economics, and World History at Westfield High School in Westfield, IN.
J. T. Hoke '03 is principal of Attica Jr.-Sr. High School in Attica, IN, and previously taught U.S. History and current events at Crawfordsville High School.
A light lunch will be provided.
Stand for Freedom (April 9-10): College Mall, 4:00PM - 12:00AM
To increase awareness and raise money for worldwide organizations on the front lines, students will stand for the estimated 27-29 million slaves worldwide that labor as sex workers, brick makers, rice farmers, and much more. Starts at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 and concludes at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.
