Dr. Stanley Murashige School of the Art Institute of Chicago "Making Culture, Making China: The Contemporary Art of Xu Bing and Ai Weiwei" Baxter 101 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will follow the lecture. Dr. Murashige is a widely sought after speaker and a fellow at the East-West Institute at the University of Hawaii. His presentations on the nexus of art, politics and culture offer a new, fresh, multidisciplinary view of China's recent history.
